WIP - Dark Eldar beastmaster

So a little while ago I started pondering Dark Eldar Beastmasters...

Whilst there is already a current Beastmaster model (and a pretty good one at that) i started to think shouldn't the masters better represent their beasts?

A Razorwing flock master, with wings, swooping down, covered herself in blades better representing the flock. Khymerae Beastmaster mounted atop a similar looking beast with a herd of Khymerae around them.  A Clawed fiend Beastmaster that looks more like a twisted abomination itself..

Just some thoughts.....

So i got out the Procreate and the Green stuff mixed up some 'Prostuff' and got to work on fleshing one of my ideas out..   With a few bitz and a few kitz this is the result so far.

Dark Eldar Khymerae beastmaster, mounted on giant Khymerae

As always please let me know your thoughts.

Nurgle Champion Complete

Hi all,

Just a quick update today.  I managed to finish the final details on the Nurgle champion.

Main issue was cleaning up the hand, if you look at the first pictures the hand is HUUUUGE!   Now I think its a little better proportioned (still a tiny bit big, but its Nurgle right?  Who cares?!!

Little bit more detail and rot added to the shield and hey presto! We're done!

Really enjoyed working on this Guy.

Please do comment and tell me what you think.

WIP - Nurgle Champion

Just last Friday a friend asked if i could do him a simple weapon swap on a Nurgle champion model.  The brief consisted of Shield + Nurgle ish weapon....

Of course i said and here's the result.

Using my 'Pro-stuff' putty mixture I've  sculpted in in 2 new arms (keeping the left hand / forearm, but removing the axe). I've also sculpted in new cuts (to cover missing section were original axe sat).

I borrowed a shield from the exulted hero of Khorne model (used for Kharn conversion), removed the detail and added my own Nurgle icon.   For the weapon i have mounted 'The cutter' which is the weapon variant for FW's Kharn (more Kharn! >_<).

You might have noticed I've also added a leather face style flesh mask to the model... something i'm extremely pleased with.

Few bitz of detail to finish,, I've since re sculpted the weapon hand to fix the proportion (as the photo'd one is massive!) and will be going back to attached properly and sculpt in wrist later today.

Again please do let me know what you think.  This conversion was surprisingly easy and loads of Fun.

Kharn - Finished!

Its been a busy few weeks for me and not as much hobby time as i would have liked.

I did however managed to finish off my version of Kharn the betrayer.

Let me know what you think

WIP - Little bit more on Kharn

So its been a fairly busy couple of weeks for me in the real world..

I did however managed to sit down and spend a little more time on Kharn.

As you can see i have now bulked the chest plate out (as i really wasn't happy with it), cleaned the right leg up and added the plasma pistol arm.

Noticed that the plastic arm doesn't fit quite right and will get in the way of Helmet / Shoulder pad, Back pack so i'll be going back later to bulk that shoulder joint out a bit more and resolve the issue.

Any comments and feedback welcome.... Its fairly quiet round ere!
